Haiz.. Why is everyone leaving??

The topic of resigning always pops up in my "water team" for the last few weeks. Wendy left 2 weeks ago cos of a new job, ZJ tendering soon cos of her health and even the manager is a "going concern". Oh no!! The job is gonna be in a mess without them, not that the existing colleagues are not capable, they are just not familiar with the water company.

Like to work with my water team very much, cos everyone is so nice and fun to work with. They love to joke ard, laugh tog and sing. It really feels good working with them. But now.. they are all leaving one by one. That's very saddening.

I know that it is inevitable in this audit line, the turnover rate is very high. I guess no one can stand the long working hours, heavy workload and low pay. Why is there an unwritten rule that auditors need to work till morning and over the weekends?? It's so unfair.. The culture in audit industry should really change, if not S'pore will run out of auditors.

Had 2 farewells for Wendy, our cute pretty face senior. One with the team members only and the other with the 2 managers.

Went for the $10 KTV. Had a treat from the manager @ M Hotel (steamboat buffet). Food there was ok, though not too sure abt the pricing, but just feel that it's not worth the money. It was very much like seoul garden just that perhaps it is of much higher quality. It was actually also a birthday celebration for the manager.

2 tables. 1 with the managers and seniors, the other with the assistants (4 of us). Haha.. the topic for the dinner was totally different. We talked about everything under the sun except work, but the other table talked about work almost throughout the whole dinner. Phew!! Din sit with them, if not will certainly not enjoy the dinner and will most likely be bored to death.

Haiz.. so when will be my farewell dinner?? Is it gonna be soon?? Am i really cut out to be an auditor?? Do i really enjoy auditing??

Farewell dinner!!!
Met up with my colleagues on sat.

Purpose?? Farewell dinner cum belated birthday celebration for KH, my supervisor. He left EY to go back to his previous company.

There were 6 of us and we met at Hooters. Quite a nice place to hang out, with all the chiobus wearing super short shorts.

Food there was good. Very huge servings. Heard that they will do something special for birthdays boys/girls. But too bad, we din get to see it cos, i think they forgot to tell the person when reserving the seats.

Moved over to TCC to get KH a slice of cake. He insisted that we shouldnt sing him any birthday songs, cos he is very 'pan dan'. He thought that it was bad luck to sing that when his birthday is alr over.

More photo shooting at TCC. Haha.. in the photos, it was commented that we all looked like his daughters. The other girls had some funny poses with KH. But too bad, i din capture those in my camera, so have to wait for the other girls to send to me.

Harry's Night
AABS outing was last friday. It is at Harry's which is inside esplanade.

Nothing interesting happened. Went there to gather around, take photos, eat and drink.

Saw a few partners and managers around. Din really dare to mingle with them. I guess my networking skills really sucks. Dun even know what to talk abt even if they approached me.

Anyway, still must thank those organisers.. i know that it wasn't easy putting all thing things together.
