Night Out with Credit Card Team

Finally the 2 weeks engagement at the credit card company ended. Though the account assistants are nice to us, they are quite slow and ignorant of their work. They dun seem to know what they are doing, or should i say, they just follow blindly. Hahaha.. that sounds like me too..

Haha.. had quite a shock when i working in the building. On my 2nd or 3rd day there, we felt tremors which was caused by the earthquake at Sumatra. It was actually scary. Cos it is a very old building and it very looked very "lok cok". So when the building was shaking . End up all the staffs had to be evacuated, not once, but twice. It is quite an experience for all of us. Luckily we are at the 3rd level only, can you imagine if we are at ORQ?? 13 storeys down to the lobby..

Last fri, on the last of our engagement, the credit card team organised a KTV session. Not really close to all of them cos i only got to know them for 2 weeks, except for HS, my best buddy at EY. So i went along with them. Never did i know that it was my most happening KTV session.

During dinner time, all of them already quite high lei. Laughters were like non-stop. We were all very amazed at how HS behaved. She is super funny, really entertained everyone. Haha..

At K-box, we ordered alcoholic drinks instead of the usual bubble teas or soft drinks. We ordered long island tea, vodka sprite, green tea mixed with chivas. We opened a bottle of chivas, and we managed to finish it with a few hours. Can see how much we drank.

After a few drinks, i must say everyone became very high. we started to talk very loudly, laugh very loudly and stand on the sofas singing. Quite surprised at how my 2 seniors Eli and Oli behaved, a totally different person. Very serious working seniors in the morning and party like crazy youngsters at night.

The best part of the night was that my guy colleague got a bit drunk. He doesnt sing, so he just sat there drink and play finger guessing games with the seniors. He lost quite many times so he must have drank quite a fair bit. Haha.. heard that he threw up a few times and stayed in the toilet for quite a while.

Everyone really had fun. It's totally a very new experience for me. Drinking at KTV session and getting very high but definitely not drunk. It's actually nice working with a big group of people, as there will usually be gatherings after the job engagements. Looking forward to my next gathering.

Hee.. Slept at 4 in the morning, and woke up at 5 in the afternoon. Shiok man!!

Water Team Gatherings

Finally the long dreaded job engagement ended. It's really sucky. All the team members also think so, they all cant wait to get out of it. Not only the client is nasty to us, the accounts is also very messy and complicated. But i really enjoyed working with my team mates. They are super cute, super funny.. Without them, i think the engagement would be a total torture.

At the end of the job, there are 4 words/phrases which i hated and they are "adjustments", "drafts", "reclass" and "tying of figures". They are never-ending =( Really a nightmare!!

The long awaited announcement was on the last day of feb. It was a relief for everyone of us, including my other EY colleagues. Life is better after the announcement, earlier dismissal time. We also had a few activites lined up.

First in line was a karaoke session at Chinatown. Cutie and Wendy came to join us. First time hear uncle and cutie sing, very funny i must say. Think the both of them also quite paiseh to sing, cos i believe they seldom go KTV with their friends. My team mates have beautiful voices and they all like to sing. Everytime during work, they will hum to the music that they are listening to. Uncle even commented that they sounded like the houseflies in the "Journey to the West" show. But after hearing them really sing, think he prob have second thoughts abt his comments, cos they sing real well.

On Friday, the last day of the job, our nice nice senior gave us, the assistants, a treat at Bugis Sakae to thank us for the hard work. Seriously, dun think there is a need though, cos they worked even harder than us.. haha.. so we decided to buy them apple strudel and starbucks in return.

Here are my water team members, short of uncle cos he's the photographer. Hmm.. it seems that we are all of the same height.. but we aren't. Really love this photo.. cos everyone is smiling so happily, and it's very well taken.

Now it's a complete team, 9 ladies and a guy. Think uncle sometimes also quite poor thing, surrounded by us, listening to all the girls talk.

On sat, Zyn senior invited us to her new house at Boon lay, it is super far away. It's sorta pre-housewarming, cos they haven't officially move in yet. Din know what to get for her so we ended up buying a nicely coloured teapot (it's more of an ornament). Her house is well furnished and i like the deco, it's so purplish (one of my fav colour). There is a sports hall just beside her house, how nice it is, so convenient. Had a poker game at her place and surprisingly, i won a few bucks.
Tml i'll be on a new job working with new ppl. I'll definitely be missing my water team members.

Sidetrack a bit.. I'm getting a new laptop tml. But is it really new or is it those that are being passed down by those resignees, that one i dun know. I only know that i shouldn't get my hopes too high on that.. Haha..
